How does TrueRead Pro work?
It uses a fuel-cell sensor — the sensing technology used in professional-grade testers — and shows your result in about 3 seconds on a clear OK / Caution / Danger screen.

Do I need an app or account?
No. TrueRead Pro works fully offline. Your readings appear only on the device and are never uploaded or stored on our servers.

How do I get an accurate reading?
Wait at least 15–20 minutes after your last drink, food, or mouthwash, follow the warm-up prompt, then blow steadily into the mouthpiece until it beeps.

How is it charged?
By USB-C. A single charge lasts for many tests.

Safety & accuracy

Can I use TrueRead to decide whether it's safe to drive?
No. TrueRead Pro is a personal screening tool for information only — not a medical or legal device. The only safe amount of alcohol before driving is none. Never drink and drive.

Is it court-admissible?
No. It is not an evidential instrument and its readings are not a substitute for professional or law-enforcement testing.

What's the warranty?
A 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects, separate from the trial.

How does shipping work?
Free standard shipping within the United States. Orders process in 1–2 business days and typically arrive 5–10 business days after that. We ship within the US only.
